Jennifer Aniston is Tabloid Gold

In news that’s about as scientific as you’re ever going to read on Holy Candy, Forbes has released its first-ever analysis of the top-selling celebrity faces. At the top of that list…? Yup, Jennifer Aniston.

You remember that Seinfeld episode where Newman keeps imagining Kramer as a tasty cooked turkey? That must be how tabloid editors imagine Jen — only as a big pile of tasty cash, rather than a Butterball.

The analysis covered the top six celebrity weeklies, based on newsstand sales, number of covers graced and consumer appeal gleaned from market research. Jen, who had a high likability score (which they attributed to her being “wronged” and “relatable”), collectively sold more than 5 million copies during the analyzed time frame.

The biggest disappointment at the newsstand? Britney Spears with an “abnormally low appeal score.” The only one who scored worse? Paris Hilton.

I know what you’re thinking and trust me, I’m thinking the SAME thing: Valerie Bertin-freakin-elli?! That Jenny Craig must be one hell of a diet. Either that, or there are a lot of closeted One Day at a Time fans. (Yeah, it’s definitely the former.)
