Ryan Gosling: More Cushion for the Pushin’

Ryan Gosling at the New York City premiere of Lars and the Real Girl
For those who may have noticed Ryan Gosling has packed on a few extra pounds these days… well, Holy Candy is here to assure you it is NOT a baby bump, but rather a professional move. The weight gain was required for his upcoming film, The Lovely Bones, in which he plays the father a 14-year-old girl during the 1970s who is raped, murdered, and dismembered by a neighbor. Over the next few years, the girl watches from heaven as her family and friends deal with their grief.
Fabulous. I do love me a good romantic comedy!

You know what…He can pack on all he wants…he’s my version of Clooney. I’m even overlooking the Chewbacca beard.

That book was great – made me bawl countless times – but great. Usually I shudder every time I learn who is cast in leads in movies adapted from books, but he’ll do it justice.

Here, here…Ms. Parker.
Did you see him in “Half Nelson?” There’s something vulnerable about him…kind of like…Keanu (of all people).
