Olá, Holy Rollers!

I just landed in sunny, thong-filled Rio de Janeiro, where I’m spending New Year’s with my true love: Senhor Caipirinha. I’ll still update you on all the critical end-of-year gossip, just a bit more sporadically than usual — in between watching the Cabana Boy fetch my drinks, desperately trying to learn Portuguese and lamenting scarfing down those holiday cookies as I squeeze into my bathing suit (not a thong, thankfully for everyone).
