It does take a few hours for the medical examiner to come to you in NYC -- it's a busy city, lots of dead bodies here. With the fast technology out there, it is now so easy to get news immediately, so the media and paps clamored quickly -- even before the Medical examiner got there. It's a shame. They could have easily shielded his sheet covered body, including the gurny--instead, though, they set-up a damn red carpet like press-line as they wheeled away his body.
