Well, It Is a Hard Name

Joaquin Phoenix got creative with his People’s Choice acceptance “speech” by using cue cards in support of the writers’ strike — and misspelling his own name.

Don’t blame Joaquin, though. The brain-eating frogs obviously chowed down on the left side of his brain! Hate when that happens. They were behind my woeful trigonometry grades, too. No matter what my ignorant parents chose to believe.

I would give his movie about cops the top award, but it was the only movie I recall seeing last year in a theater. It was brilliant acting.

Of course it is a joke but he seems so humourless. We were caught off guard by hime being funny

him – him being funny – not hime. Need.More.Coffee.

I think he’s trying to pull a double entendre with his sign there… if read incorrectly, you could see it as “I’m jokin’”. Wasn’t funny enough to fly though.

Jeez, what the hell happened to him? He looks like Tom Hanks!
