NBC Pays Conan O’Brien to Stop Working for Them

In news that makes me feel AWESOME about the forty cents I made from Google AdSense today, NBC has agreed to pay Conan O’Brien $30 million to not work for them.

That’s right:  Sources involved in the negotiations confirm that NBC has re-hired Jay Leno has “The Tonight Show” host, while giving Conan a really sweet payout and not-so-gentle push out the door.

And if they’re not happy with Leno (again), maybe they can replace him with Jimmy Fallon!  Hell, he’s proven to be as effective at hosting a talk show as NBC is in managing employee relations and programming.
