Sandra Bullock and Meryl Streep Seal Tie with a Kiss

Two of my girl crushes, Sandra Bullock and Meryl Streep, celebrated their tie for best actress honors at the Critics’ Choice Movie Awards as any esteemed actresses would:  by playing tonsil hockey on stage.

This is bulls—,” Sandy said jokingly Friday before lip-locking with Meryl, with whom she tied for the award (she for the Blind Side and Meryl for Julie and Julia).  The tie was an obvious surprise, but as the audience cheered, Sandy exclaimed: “This is an honor.”

If this girl-on-girl action becomes a tradition, the impossible could happen next year:  Academy voters will make sure Jessica Alba and Blake Lively tie for best actress honors at the Oscars.
